Keelbase
Cookie Notice
Last updated: June 17, 2026
What cookies and storage we use
Keelbase uses a small number of essential cookies and browser storage items. We do not use advertising, retargeting or heatmap cookies.
Essential authentication cookie
- Name
- boudragon-access-token
- Purpose
- Keeps your signed-in session active and protects account-only pages.
- Type
- HTTP-only, secure, same-site cookie.
- Access
- Readable by server-side app code only — not accessible from JavaScript in the browser.
- Retention
- Expires when the authentication token expires or when you sign out.
Cookie consent preference
- Name
- kb_cookie_consent
- Purpose
- Remembers whether you have accepted or declined the cookie notice so it is not shown on every visit.
- Type
- localStorage (browser storage, not a cookie).
- Retention
- Stored until you clear your browser storage.
Onboarding and interface preferences
So the new-user walkthrough and the short per-page tips are not repeated on every visit, Keelbase records which of them you have already seen. These are functional preferences keyed to your account and hold no personal data beyond your account identifier; they are never shared.
- Name
- keelbase.tour.* and keelbase.intro.*
- Purpose
- Remembers that you have completed or skipped the product tour and dismissed each page's quick intro, so they are not shown again.
- Type
- localStorage (browser storage, not a cookie).
- Retention
- Stored until you clear your browser storage.
Completion of the product tour is also stored against your Keelbase account so it does not reappear when you sign in on another device. This is account data covered by our Privacy Notice, not a cookie.
Analytics
Keelbase uses Vercel Analytics to monitor page performance and visitor counts. Vercel Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly — it does not use persistent tracking cookies, does not fingerprint individual users and does not share data with advertising networks. Aggregated usage data (such as page views and load times) is processed by Vercel Inc. in accordance with their privacy policy.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the essential authentication cookie will prevent login and account pages from working correctly. You can also clear your browser's localStorage to reset your cookie consent preference.
Changes
This notice will be updated if Keelbase adds new cookies or analytics tools. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
